Our extensive assembly and process technology experience allows us to produce mechanical and electromechanical subassemblies for customers who seek vendors to supply not only components, but value added products.
We provide major subassemblies to the following industries:
Production capabilities for subassemblies include:
Part Name: CHAIN LOCK
Application: Hydraulic Power Equipment
Material: European Steel Alloy X19NiCrMo4V,
Weight 2.4 kg.
Critical Dimension: any tight tolerance radii and surface finishes
which must be maintained through heat treatment as follows: Hardened
and Tempered to Din 17006: Tensile Strength 1200MPa - 1400 MPa, Yield
Stress > 950MPa
Elongation after fracture > 6%
Quantity: 1,200 pcs.
CSI's value added: CSI's customer attempted to make the Chain Lock in India, but found their vendor had 14 week lead times and could not hold the tolerances needed to successfully manufacture the part. Furthermore, the customer was in urgent need of 125 pcs. to fill an order. CSI made tooling and samples in 25 days, and then in an additional 30 days delivered 150 parts to the customer by air freight from Asia.
