Grab Bars
CSI offers a wide range of high quality stainless steel grab bars. Bars are made of heavy duty 18 gauge 304 stainless steel and have a 1-1/2" wall clearance with precise 90 degree angles standard. CSI's bars are available in a wide range of styles, sizes and configurations.
Grab bars are also available in 260 Alloy Brass. The tube walls are 18 gauge (1.2mm). The bars are available in either 1-1/2" (38mm) or 1-1/4" (32mm) diameter. Other options include:
Flanges:
When installed correctly all CSI grab bars comply fully with ADA guidelines and can withstand loads in excess of the 250 lb requirement. The flange of the bar which is attached to the wall, floor or ceiling is an important structural and aesthetic aspect of the grab bar assembly. CSI offers a variety of exposed and concealed screw flanges to fit any application.
- Exposed Flanges: 3" diameter with three screw holes. The standard flange thickness is 14 gauge. Other thicknesses are available depending on the strength requirements for the application.
- Concealed Flanges: CSI also offers two standard flanges that conceal the screws and provide a clean, more finished appearance. The standard flanges are shown below but decorative covers are also available.
- Concealed Twist Flange: Flange cover conceals screws and flange by twisting into the locking position. The standard flange base is 14 gauge but heavier gauge is also available.
- Concealed Flange with Set Screw Cover: Flange cover conceals screws and flange, cover is held in place with Allen head set screws. The standard flange base is 14 gauge but heavier gauges are also available.
- Concealed Flange with Welded Stud: These flanges consist of a single center screw which has been heliarc welded to the flange plate for convenience and easy installation.
- Custom Flanges - Custom configurations and finishes manufactured to meet your application perfectly.
Finishes:
- Satin Finish: standard stainless steel grab bar finish
- Grip Finish: peened surface for improved grip (available coverage: full length or straight section)
- Powdercoat: colorful grab bar finish (white and tan standard - we take extra care to eliminate shadows!)

CSI's value added: Current Spa Grab Bar products on the market are made using a patented epoxy molding process to fix a bolt to each end of the bar. CSI reverse engineered this process to substitute a formed stainless steel plate to weld to each end. This creative manufacturing technique achieved both the critical water tight seal and a unique method of fixing the bolt to the bar.
