CSI offers outstanding casting and forging capabilities at its vendor operations in both India in China. We're forward thinking, and that's evident in our vendors' selection of equipment and facilities. Our suppliers invest continuously in processes and systems designed to deliver greater product value to customers. All CSI vendors are either QS 9000 or ISO 9000 certified, and have a wide range of capabilities, including:
- Precision die making & other tool room capabilities done in-house.
- Fully equipped laboratory with 11 element spectrometer, and x-ray capability.
- In-house machining capability includes vertical machining centers for milling, boring, slotting, drilling and tapping as well as CNC turning.
- Finishing treatments including: Zinc plating, Black Oxide, Sand-blasting and painting

CSI's value added: CSI's customer attempted to make the Chain Lock in India, but found their vendor had 14 week lead times and could not hold the tolerances needed to successfully manufacture the part. Furthermore, the customer was in urgent need of 125 pcs. to fill an order. CSI made tooling and samples in 25 days, and then in an additional 30 days delivered 150 parts to the customer by air freight from Asia.
