China Country Manager

Position Description

Component Sourcing International LLC (CSI) is a leading outsourcing/manufacturing firm based in the USA with offices in China and India. CSI is focused on the design, manufacturing and logistics of primarily metal components for its customers, including metal fabrication (tube and sheet metal), castings, forgings, and high precision turned and CNC parts for the hydraulics and pneumatics industries. The company is focused on working with small and medium sized businesses and most CSI customers have had a long relationship with the company.

CSI seeks a China Country Manager (CCM). The CCM will report directly to the company’s President, and will include the following responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine a vendor base of top quality manufacturers in the product lines and industries in which CSI focuses.
  • Travel to factories to work with engineers on applications.
  • Inspect product quality before shipment to USA or Europe.
  • Work in conjunction with the President to identify design improvements on existing products and new product ideas.
  • Facilitate communication between vendors and Company on all issues which include but is not limited to: Engineering, quality, packaging, shipping, payment, timeliness of delivery.
  • Provide Company with weekly updates of all ongoing projects.

CSI seeks to accelerate its growth both in the U.S. and internationally. The company seeks an English speaking individual who is loyal, bright, motivated, a practical self-starter, with excellent engineering and vendor relationship management skills. Person should have a minimum of 10 years of experience with a multinational factory. A mechanical engineering/manufacturing engineering degree is preferred and experience in hydraulics and pneumatics is a plus.
